try out the demo and see for yourself. QG has fixed a number of inherit design flaws that caused performance problems on large projects, it is very actively developed, we have updates every 1 to 2 weeks since it was released. Support is typically rapid. You get all available platforms for a single price. There is a pretty comprehensive manual, integrated CVS support, advanced FTP integration, etc.
