Panorama Picture Merging
by Thorsten Schnebeck on Wednesday 02/Jan/2002, @13:09
Yes, kio-kamera in HEAD seems to be in a very bad shape :-( A configuration of my IXUS crashes the whole control center - ok - it's beta...

BUT here is my wishlist feature: panorama picture merging.
Many digicams have a feature of making a sequence of pictures showing you an overlapping area during the shot. Canon has a tool for this merging stuff but -of course- its Mac and M$-Win only. The job is more than an easy crop&merge: you need some gamma-ticks and maybe morphing-things in the merging-zone.
That sounds like fun, or? ;-)

Happy New Year

Thorsten

P.S.
I can't spend a camera, but a sequence of such pics ;-)
