Well, this is awesome. It demonstrates how useful X can be in an environment like this, where
you can't afford individual top-of-the-line workstations, but still want good performance. And KDE
in use is great too.

I'd just like to know, what office software are they using, exactly? OO or SO, or maybe MS Office via
that windows emulation software? It didn't seem too clear on that.

They are probably using KOffice from KDE and/or MS Office through rdesktop. I did not see any mention of Win32 "emulation" software being used; there is just rdesktop, a terminal client (kinda like an X server or VNC client) which can display remote applications from WinNT.
