It's my fault this is not clear in the article, since Dre actually gave the reason why he said that, but last minute I felt it was a bit too verbose.

The reason Dre used the word ironic there is because Red Hat more or less focuses on the Server market and insists on ignoring the desktop.

Apologies to Dre and everyone confused by this.

They donīt ignore the desktop. They spend a lot of resources on it (thereīre the packagers, the manuals, and all the traning for their support staff).

The desktop is not RHīs focus, but they certainly donīt ignore it.
