Thanks for the response.

I realize that they're different projects, but I thought the whole point of being part of a desktop environment... hell the whole point of shared libraries was so that applications wouldn't have to re-invent the wheel and would be able to take advantage of new features. I know it's not that simple, but I don't think it should be all that complex either.

I haven't used Quanta for years because I really can't handle non-modal editing.
