I think it's very splendid that you guys focus on that she's a girl rather than on the excellent work she's doing. Way to make people feel like part of the community!

If she is pretty (havenīt checked) the least she can do is carry her burden at least as gracefully as we (ok, I) carry the weight of our (ok, my ;-) .. ermm... homeliness.

Hell, I donīt think I ever heard a Ph.D in maths (and I know a few dozens) who doesnīt like a compliment about her hair.

She's new, we can't verify what she's done because she's new. Good try on trying to score brownie points with the hot chick though. Oh, but do not fear once she has gained some experience she will be looked upon with a keener eye.
