Most people don't really need a picture viewer as Konqueror does it. But by adding image manipulation functions to Gwenview as plugins this may create a true "image program" via the bootstrapping method of development. We already know from kpart how fruitful a plugin module system may be.

I think the method of slow growth is better than the big shoot approach.
