Yes and no. For a company, it is much better. For an individual, since Qt for windows requires either to run XFree on windows or to pay the Trolltech licence (1500$), it is not that much better.

Having using it as a company, I am more than satisfied. The 30k lines program I ported took me 1 hour of fixes for broken visual C++ code, and 2 days of DLL problem. 0 minutes where dedicating to the port, it just worked.
