KDE Only DIstros steep UP
by Kraig on Sunday 28/Mar/2004, @08:22
The KDE only distros like Lycoris and Xandros need to step up to the plate. I'm not aware of any projects that these distros sponsor. Lindows already is sponsoring other projects plus working on somthing in house.

They took Mozilla Composer, changed the skin, and call it NVU.
(Warning: Don't use NVU if your Mozilla version is older than 1.6! NVU will shredder your Mozilla config.) Good work, Lindows ;-)

No, I'm talking about KDE applications. See http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=5758&page=4 question 9.

Look at the Kevin Interview on OSNEWS. This is his quote, "We are also working on some great KDE applications in house, which are open sourced and that we'll be sharing with the world when LindowsOS 5.0 comes out. Linux needs more and better applications to succeed. That is the area we are spending most of our time, energy and dollars right now."

Well actually they hired the composer developer to work on it full time.
