why do you come here? don't you know that everything is nothingness and that this place doesn't exist?

I can certainly see your point about your mind being void. You don't seem to be shamed of that either. However, i'd suggest that as a generic rule of thumb in life, keep this information to yourself. It really helps.

Why don't you just take care of your own damn business, and let others take care of their own?

LOL!
If there is no God, WHAT created all things? The Big Bang? Oh then... and WHAT created the Big Bang? Another universe? Oh then... and WHAT created this other universe?... Etc...
Something that is called "God" exist because "something" created the universe.
You don't go to church because God exist, but because 2000 years ago a person saw that he was God and resuscitated and is Present here, now. Stop. You go to church because you meet someone that has that Person inside.
Then, why can't I go to the church? I go only because a person called me and make me happy. For ever.

Please, stop this!
There are people who believes in God, even having no proof about it.
Others don't accept this God thing if there is no credible proof about it.
Over the years this two groups had never agreed, and this is certainly NOT the place to talk about it.
Stop it.
Thanks

Not really sure how this all pertains fo KOffice, btu that being said... I bleleive in God, and I do have proof enough for me. For those of you who like it in print so that you can hold the proof (I guess the Bible is not good enough), try reading "The Case for Christ" by Lee Stroebel. He is a well seasoned investigative journalist who tried to disprove Jesus and his deity. In the process he actually proves it. After reading that, get back with me.

I think the real question is: who created God?

I think the real question is how did this go from a question about a feature needed in Kpresenter to a debate about the validity of belief in God?

Well, men of course who else?
Some even say that god looks like men, so it must be men who created it, no?
A part from this, how do you know whether if it is a what or a who which created god(s)?
You have better information than most of us for being so sure about this topic..

yoppy, you certainly aren't required to believe in God. You aren't required to believe in anything, that doesn't make you better or worse then anyone else. But common courtesy dictates that you at least respect others who do. That is if you want them to respect your desire not to believe. I don't know for sure that "God" as we understand that word to mean, truely exists I just have faith that God exists just as you don't know for sure that "God" doesn't exist you just have faith that he doesn't. So see there, you do have faith, you do believe in something, you believe in anarchy. Which is ok I guess, sad, but ok.

what is really sad, is that if you says something has faith in not believing in god.
I don't need to believe or not to believe in god. god is just something more for people on the earth to talk about. I can have faith that Schumacher will won F1 world champion again, or that I could pay less tributes. The difference is that god is not part of the society. I live in a laic state: Spain, who doesn't care about religion. If you are catholic is good, if you are not, is also good. And religion does not take part of the government or the important thinks in life.
So please don't tell me that is sad not believe in god or even worse... that not believing in god is just.. anarchy. I like order, society and rules, I don't like anarchy. But I believe in my politicians, friends, police, and organizations... I don't belive in "something" that is ethereal. I've never believed in ghosts, so I don't believe in any kind of god...
but well... Afrodita was a godess and she was really pretty :-P
Oh I like very much the films of greek gods, they were great!

Try read good books like Davinci's code, and not fantasy books like the Bible.
If you like fantasy, the best book is the Lord of the Rings, not the Bible.
Of course I don't believe in god (don't know why people write god with G, it's just a common word in the middle of a sentence, so use lowercase please)
And I think my life is extremely short to think about believing in something absolutetly impossible to proove.
So try having more sex with your girlfriend (with condom), going to the mountains, enjoying life and freedom, family and friends, and you will discover
that believing in a god is just useless and timewasting.
and try Gentoo Linux, too :-)

Your own words judge you. So many humans fail to understand infinity. Most of you are so dimensionless. You can't see past time. Can you even see time? Or are you only aware of it's exsistence because you were taught it in school.
Perhaps some choose to ignore the possibilities and thereby limit themselves.
