Thanks for the info. I'm actually trying out xdelta at the moment so I was curious about the naming.

I don't actually have Solaris :)

IMHO xdelta is a very well done diff/patch tool.

That's ok. :-) Some of the patches are Solaris specific, but many of them
are generic.
