This is the only info I could find in the article about what specifically Tenor aims at is. It sounds much like GNOME Storage. Does Tenor have a different goals? If not, how will the actual frameworks differ? Could some of the Storage effort be reused?

Could the framework be (made) useful outside KDE (say on GNOME) and published on freedesktop.org?
