For point #2, wouldn't it make more sense to add Qt/KDE code generation support to the Eclipse VE project than have Eclipse just externally launch Qt designer?

I for one quite dislike VE or SWT-Designer. Qt Designer so much more robust and easier to use.

I actually had thought something the other way round, using Qt Designer to create SWT code, e.g. via uic.sf.net.
