Debian

Debian not on supported distributions lists? Sound kind of strange since all those distributions debian derivatives? Am I missing something here or what?

This looks to me like I listed Debian amongst the supported distributions... ;-P

Ok. Sorry missed that one while looking at this page (which lists supported distributions):

But thanks for sorting the misunderstanding :)

Re: Debian support, but a sarge/etch .deb?

There is support, but I like to maintain my debian system
by apt-get'ing (now aptitude'ing) packages when possible.
This way they're tracked via dpkg --get-selections, and I
can minimize items I need to track should I need to perform
a bare-metal reinstall.

I heard a 'slh' on #kanotix (irc.freenode.net) has .debs, but
it would be nice to pick them up from klik or backports.org
(or the like).
