Wow, nice to see many improvements and bugfixes in KOffice, and especially sooo many in Karbon14. Thanks to all KOffice developers for the most complete office suite on earth!

Is the OpenDocument format native in KOffice?

Just as native as the old native format, that's to say, it's implemented in the applications themselves, not as a filter from and to a native representation. But it's not yet the default format: that will happen with the 1.5 release, which is scheduled for the end of January.
