Re: Kubuntu protest

How about a little courtesy, Jonathan? Your comments on the kubuntu-users list are a bit unkind. Not to mention your "Move Along, Nothing to See" post. Why is Canonical allowing you to be the public face of Kubuntu?

Some examples:

Poor Jane is a busy person, she probably doesn't much wish to ansewr
random accusationary e-mails.
...
I don't know the details here, it sounds like personalities are
getting in the way.
...
As I see it you have no valid complains in this list so please reopen
kubuntu.de. (From talking to other German Kubuntu users they seem to
suggest that they'll just start using ubuntuusers.de if this nonsense
continues.)

All of those comments are factually correct (from my point of view anyway) and not rude. What's unkind?

Don't even give them the time of day, Jonathan. They aren't following the Code of Conduct, and didn't go through the proper Ubuntu dispute channels.

I think Germans are angry about the attempts of ximian to cripple SuSe as a KDE distro. It is like people felt invaded by Gnome imperialism.
