I've been using Kubuntu Edgy for about a week, and I can say it's an impressive work. Very smooth distro :)

I did not like the Dapper release much, but this one feels a lot more polished. Thanks to Riddell, Imbrandon, Hobbsee, and all the others!

Agreed. The most useful thing for me is the patch to get rid of media:/ and replace it with /media.

Seriously, this should go into KDE itself. Accessing media files in KDE is completely crippled in a default install. Any non-kde app (and even some KDE apps) will choke on a media:/ URL. Kubuntu fixes this in a very nice way.
