Scribus is NOT a KDE app. KDE friendly yes :) We enjoy a lot of cooperation from KDE and Koffice folks in particular. Scribus works very well on a KDE desktop and there are KDE specific features like Kfontinstaller which are very useful for Scribus users.

That said, we will port Scribus to Qt 4.2+, during 1.3.5 which will solve some Mac specific issues with Scribus.

Anyway, the top menu setting works not with Scribus which is a real pitty when you use it under KDE in MacMenu Mode.
