I suppose you create a doc with only one page, right? You should add some more pages then to see how it's layouted ;)

Yes, I create a doc with one page. That's what a 3-fold is right? Taking one page and folding it into three sections. Unless you're saying each page represents one panel of the 3-fold? Now that would surely be a little different. Well to me at least. It may be a common thing among real publishers.
