Re: Will Dolphin be fixed?
by mutlu on Wednesday 21/Mar/2007, @19:52
One click in the Control Center enables Konqueror instead of Dolphin as the default file manager. Not reason to worrry for those who do not like Dolphin the way it is when KDE4 gets released.

Except that using Konqueror means not getting any of the fixes Dolphin was intended to bring vis a vis having the same app for web and filebrowsing (huge options dialog, mixed bookmarks, unable to have differnet sized toolbars etc etc).

It's like saying "We'll fix that! Don't like the other changes it brings? Don't use the fixed then!" Thanks.

damnit I told myself I was going to ignore Dolphin. Oh well, as long as I am replying to myself, the line should be "We'll fix that! Don't like the other changes it brings? Don't use the fixes then!" Fixes, not fixed. need edit.
