pyqt4 rocks

I'm really starting to like python. it's a nice little language. with python, pyqt4, and qt designer, I can make stuff really quickly and easily :)

..however, I wouldn't use it for something that had to run all the time.
like, say, a battery monitor. :P

yeah, they've been discussing this a lot. If someone improves the 'competition', they might switch, I think. But they're also working on lowering the resource usage.
