No, honestly, GTK+ based vs. Qt based, doesn't make a lot of sense. While it's interesting to note that there is no alternative Qt desktop, what does it give when entirely different desktops use the same or a different underlying toolkit, it matters how the desktop present the interface.

So well, you ought to compare the numbers for every 2 desktops. Forming groups on technical implementation details won't make sense.

    There is! Well, sorta: XPDE http://www.xpde.com/
    But I think it's unmaintained.
