Re: Let People Vote

* people can vote, kde-look has a nice rating mechanism. The rating will be considered while choosing the winners.(1)

* having the judges not to compete would disqualify two very popular themes (see the rating) of Jamboarder (Aya and Heron)

* if we wanted to push our themes into 4.1, we wouldn't make this contest at all

* not everybody will be satisfied by the chosen winners, not everybody CAN be satisfied by the chosen winners. For the restless, there is always kde-look

(1)
1. Problems with ratings:
1.1. not every KDE user will vote. In fact, most users will not.
1.2. it can be tempered with
1.3. we would have to wait a couple of months to get statistically valid results

Just a clarification: Heron is made by magaden. No reason to have Heron associated with rif-raf like me. :)

    Huh, my apologies to magaden.

My bad, I knew I liked two of your themes, and blindly thought that the second is Heron... :)
