Good news...

Congrats to the school (&KDE!). It may only be a few computers, but success like this spreads as teachers talk to one another.

Education is one area where even small savings can be important for buying materials, providing trips etc. to students. Even if the benefit of the computers themselves is small, the knock on effect can be huge in the long run.

I suspect teachers will also appreciate the self-reliant nature of using OSS away from outside interference and budget constraints: It'll allow them to get on with their jobs.
