I'm one of the neglected Linux/ALPHA users.
I still have to run 1.92 because all later
versions didn't compile (internal compiler
errors) or didn't run (when turning all
compiler optimizations off).
Hope this will be fixed till the release.

Actually - it's already been fixed. Grab the sources from the CVS (or wait for the release) and try it - it works perfectly.
