Let's not forget what KDE means for millions of people. If KDE wants to keep its position it has to maintain as stable and professionally designed as before. This means getting those last(many) bugs in KDE-2.0.0 squashed. This means focusing on design, user-interface, modularity first and maybe "making it look cool" second. Is it f.ex. possible today to make KDE-2.0 apps talk to CORBA components, EJB's etc...?
