Rekall, Killustrator, KPlato
by Alain on Thursday 12/Jul/2001, @17:29
I see in a previous thread that there is the Rekall project.

It is explain here :
http://www.thekompany.com/projects/rekall/?dhtml_ok=0
http://linuxpr.com/releases/3575.html

But nothing is said on the Koffice site... However Shawn Gordon says here "Final release should be the first of October"

Will it be integrated into KOffice ? (not 1.0, of course, but after ?)

In www.koffice.org, I see that Killustrator has not still a new name, I hope it is not going to give some lateness for KOffice 1.0...

And I see KPlato... I think I never saw it before (?)... Good ! Ready for KOffice 1.0 ?

Actually, the next release of KOffice will be 1.1. It was already released as 1.0 some time ago, although it was a mistake. None of the apps were really useable for anything at that time and they crashed a lot. The 1.1beta1 that was released was actually much more stable and useful than the 1.0 release (especially KWord).
