For #2, creating a link in the sidebar for MP3's:

(Funny cause I wanted to do the thing)..

Go into your ~/.kde directory, and got the following directory under that:

/share/apps/konqueror/dirtree

Copy the home.desktop to mp3.desktop or something like that, edit it to point to the URL you want, and restart konq...

There really should be a proggy to edit these..
