Well, I found this feature in the Mandrake 8.2 logout screen. You can either select logout, reboot or shutdown. Mandrake is however so sluggish that I find it in no way an alternative to flash-flash Windows and RH7.1.

I am also looking to incorporate this feature in RH 7.1, and anyone knowing how the mandrake guys did it, is very welcome to tell me..:)

Anyway, try mandrake 8.1 if you want it without any hassle
