point release vs. majot b0rkage - gruntled. - 2004-06-16

*** GAR GAR GAR! Failed to download download/libmusicbrainz-2.1.1.tar.gz! GAR GAR GAR! *** I've loved Konstruct for a few releases now, but as it fails to find this file on any of half a dozen FTP sites it tries, i'm wondering what it's doing in a "maintenance release" anyway. It seems to be listed in the *unstable* apps changelog, but here it is in stable - this happen to anyone else? And why hasn't it been noticed yet??? Everything prior to this file worked beautifully.

A new mirror has been added. Update via either CVS or a new tarball.

lwn.net seems to rely on dot.kde.org - they only posted the KDE 3.2.3 announcement once dot.kde.org had it. Makes one wonder why they are not subscribed to the kde-announce mailing list or follow the headlines of other Linux news sites.
