The KDE Testing Team will continue its efforts with 4.9 Beta 2. The testing intensive started with KDE 4.9 Beta 1 last week; 83 bug reports were opened or confirmed, 29 of which are already closed, the bugs having been fixed. Last weekend KDE exhibited at Le Droit D'auteur et Vous (Copyrights and You) a one day event in Montréal. KDE developers were there showing off KDE 3.4.1, the latest development version and handing out Kubuntu CDs. There were lots of questions for the exhibitors and lots of praise for KDE too. KDE will be present at the Droit D'auteur et Vous event in Montréal (Québec) on July 3rd. The event is to promote Free Software and Richard Stallman will be giving a talk on copyright. There is an expo for LUGs and other organisations where KDE has booked a stall to show off the latest KDE & KOffice and to hand out limited edition Kubuntu CDs.
