In the 2004 Desktop Linux Market survey (concluded in January 2005), 3841 DesktopLinux.com readers weighed in with their choices for amongst others Linux distributions, email clients and web browsers. Particularly interesting are the result of the windowing environments poll: in just a year, KDE grew from 44% to 61%. Congratulations to the KDE team for such amazing results.

Tellico is a KDE application for organising your collections. It provides default templates for books, bibliographies, videos, music, coins, stamps, trading cards, comic books, and wines. Marcel Gagné has written an extensive review of Tellico. "I like to think of it as a very versatile personal library system." He explains how he uses Tellico to keep track of which books his friends and family have borrowed.

If you are looking for web hosting for a KDE project, look no further. I am offering free services to all KDE-related projects. A few months ago, the amaroK devs were looking for a new server to host their website. Since I own a dedicated server, I offered them space to do so. A few weeks later Konversation was also looking for a server for www.konversation.org. So I decided to contact some KDE projects to offer them the same services and now I want to reach an even higher numbers of developers.
