Andreas Beckermann wrote in to point out the huge amount of progress in the latest release of Boson (0.9), a real time strategy game for KDE. Screenshots here.

In other news, some until now unpublished submissions: The team of the strategy game Boson has released two movie files showing their development progress. The Kicker alternative
Slicker gets redesigned and its team started a logo contest.

Boson, the real-time 3D strategy game for KDE has been freshly ported to OpenGL in its 0.7 incarnation (screenshots). There is no AI yet, so a minimum of 2 players is required.

A new "modding site" has interviewed our own Cristian Tibirna, one of the first KDE core developers.

Laurent Rathle wrote in to plug the Kde France site where French speakers can enjoy forums, news, translations of KDE Dot News items as well as KC KDE issues, amongst other resources. Alongst with KDE.org/fr/, KDE French users should be well catered for.
