Trolltech today released Qt 3.3 which among other things features improved .NET support, full 64-bit support, IPv6 and backend support for two more databases.

Today the KDE Project released KDE 3.2. It is the result of a combined year-long effort by hundreds of individuals and corporations from around the globe. In this interview, Jan Holesovsky, author and leader of the

Thomas Diehl has created a new language project branch for a Plattdüütsch (Low Saxon) translation of KDE (ISO code: nds). The language is spoken in Northern Germany, the Netherlands and even in parts of the Mennonite Community in the United States and Paraguay.

KDE has wrapped up another successful visit to Linux World Expo, this
year at the Javits Convention Center in New York. For three days, 10
KDE developers and a few others helped deal with a huge amount of
interest from the crowd, showing off the latest and greatest in KDE
3.2. This year's show was thought to be at least twice as good as last
year's, and a great time was had by all. The fun didn't stop after the
expo either, with several dinners providing plenty of time for spirited

Lately I have been seeing the name of Frank Karlitschek popping up, so I thought I would contact him and ask him about his role in the KDE project. The following is an interview conducted by email.
